I am not big into horror movies and some may say that Happy Death Day is not really one, it is more like suspense. However, I enjoyed watching this movie. What is so incredible about this film is that it had a low budget and an amazing piece of work came out of that. I also recently found out that this movie was made by the same person, Jason Blum, who did Get Out and Split and I love those two. I was watching Screen Junkies on YouTube and they said something I totally agreed with. That is if you get a good director/producer on the film, a good story, and not a big budget then there is a better chance the film is going to be good or even one of the best films of the year. When you give people a bunch of money they just waste it on the top actors and actresses of Hollywood and on special effects that take away from what the film is about.
